War and Exile

The “War” refers to the little-studied Ukrainian-Polish War of 1942-1947.

The “Exile” refers to two deportation events: deportation of Ukrainians living in the Zakerzonia into the Ukraine SSR, and the deportation of Ukrainians living in the Zakerzonia deep into Poland. The deportation of Ukrainians living in the Zakerzonia deep into Poland is called Aksja Wisla, Operation “Wisla”, Operation Vistula.
